Coupons like these were used as payment for meals at the college cafeteria. Toward the last month of the semester, they were selling for half price when freshie students (the college made it compulsory for all the first-year students to buy these coupons) were desperately trying to sell their un-used coupons before expiry. That was the right time I would buy these coupons cheap and had me some nice warm meals in the cafeteria.

Oh, and that Country Manor receipt...at that time, this franchise hasn't arrived in Singapore yet.

That restaurant did indeed serve some nice warm meals.
