In an auction, any new bid submitted has to be greater than the recent high bid. The additional amount you're required to bid also depends on the current price of the auction item. There is a minimum bid increment that are determined by our internal algorithm.

The minimum bid increment size can't be changed by the seller or the bidder as it is calculated automatically.
